Ercole
Ercole
The Ercole vase embodies the pinnacle of Murano glass art, blending tradition and innovation into a single, extraordinary work. Born from an idea by Ercole Barovier in the 1940s and created with the revolutionary "rostrato" technique, patented by Barovier&Toso in the 1930s, this vase stands out for its surface rich in reliefs and protrusions. During the molten state, the master glassmaker creates faceted prisms, evoking Renaissance architecture and the structure of a diamond. This meticulous workmanship requires great skill, making each relief a testimony to the exceptional craftsmanship. The transparency of the glass, enhanced by the reliefs of the rostrato, gives the vase an extraordinary shine and a unique visual effect.
